William Annin Middle School Athletic Organization
This parent run non-profit organization sponsors athletic opportunities for WAMS students to develop athletic skills and compete against other middle schools in New Jersey. This is a pay to participate organization and all students making a team are required to pay for the costs associated with the team’s expenses. All teams holding tryouts are offered to 7th and 8th graders only. Teams without tryouts give preference to 7th and 8th graders but accept 6th graders as well (indicated by an “*” below).

Please note: NJ State requires that any student intending to participate in an extracurricular activity have submitted a standard athletic physical form completed by the parent and examining physician. The exam had to have taken place within 365 days of the first practice/tryout. A nurse as well as a school-hired physician will then review the form. Faxed or photocopied forms are NOT acceptable. Your child’s examining physician must sign the form with an original signature—no stamped signatures will be accepted. Forms will be returned for incompleteness.
